Missing in Action!

I've sort of been missing in action. We were out of town most of last week. Paul's dad was in the hospital last week in East Texas. We made the decision that he couldn't live by himself any longer, so we decided to bring him home with us. He is much weaker than normal so that has been difficult and time consuming. Then yesterday, problems arose and we took him to the ER, knowing they would probably keep him. He was admitted to the hospital again. So today we'll be heading out to the hospital in a few hours. I'm still trying to get my house set up for him too, so I've been spending time making room in the closet and getting him some drawer space for his things. We got a hospital bed delivered yesterday and home health set up for when he comes back home. His biggest complaint when we left last night was that they wouldn't let him eat or drink, so he does still have an appetite! I'm hoping once we get him home and he rebuilds his strength a little our life will get back to a somewhat normal mode!

I'm hoping to get several cards for Kristie! So seriously think about bringing a smile to this beautiful lady's face by sending a card. Email me for the address. I'm still waiting for one card to arrive, then I'll be sending cards to Janice. I plan to lay them out and get a picture to share with you! Janice is going to get lots of beautiful cards, so there will be lots of smiles on her face (and probably in her heart too!). That is the whole purpose! I already have cards from:
Esther WB
Caz
Sue S
Ginger S
Elizabeth C
Deb C
Me! (I'll share a pic later when I have more time!)

I finally got some new files in the store. I like them and I hope you do too! They are tissue box covers and made for the Kleenex Brand Tissue Box. You can make them to match your decor or give them as gifts! Wouldn't one of these be cute to give to a friend with the sniffles? Or how about giving it to a co-worker for her desk. Wouldn't a tissue cover made for your child's teacher be great? You could make one for the season or holiday? There are a lot of possibilities with these files! You can add more embellishment by adding die cuts to the sides.

Tomorrow, I hope to post some pics of projects that Sue and Deb made using these files! They turned out adorable!

Caz sent me a Christmas Card all the way from Australia! It was the very first card I received this year! I love home made cards. So I have to share!

Thanks Caz for thinking of me! I think it is just adorable!

I need to get busy and do some rearranging then get ready to go to the hospital and hopefully catch the doctor. We just thought we had a busy life. I think it is about to get busier! LOL!

MAKE it a wonderful Sunday!

My Christmas Quote:
"Christmas Eve was a night of song that wrapped itself about you like a shawl. But it warmed more than your body. It warmed your heart...filled it, too, with melody that would last forever."

Prayers are with you, my friend! I know first hand about caregiving and it sucks the life right out of you but it's rewarding in SO many ways. OK, that didn't sound very encouraging but as a nurse, you KNOW what's in store for you! God bless you and Paul for taking this on!

Don't stress about designs or anything else. May God give you strength and courage and bless you for whar you are about to do!

Thinking of you!!!!!
