Having been involved in fine arts and crafts for most of my life, I'm thrilled to be a part of the Paperthreads Design Team. After earning a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from Brigham Young University in 1994, I pursued many different career opportunities. I finally settled on a career in Information Technology and Project Management at a leading computer and information technology corporation where I spent the next ten years learning and growing.

When my children were born a few years ago, I soon discovered a passion and talent for the paper crafts of scrapbooking and cardmaking. I say it's all my mother-in-law's fault since she started it! Every spare moment from then on was spent creating for my family and friends. Soon I had a small side business going and more work than I knew what to do with!

When my husband gave me a Wishblade for Christmas, I knew it was love at first sight, for the Wishblade that is, but the husband added major bonus points! Finally a way to incorporate my love of digital design with my obsession with all things paper! Now when I sees something interesting I immediately start pondering a way to make it and make it better.

I have now finally returned to my design roots after years of only doing what I loved in my spare time. Having left the computer industry to be a full time mom, I now have a little more time for the things I really love (kids and family first, paper second!). I'm so excited to have the opportunity to share with you the digital and paper creations I love so much!
