You are probably thinking...how can she be in two places at once? LOL!! The answer is that we live in TX in the winter and CO in the summer...with a month or so in CO during the winter if the snow is good.

I am a 65 year old grandmother of three, started scrapping about four years ago, when I decided I had to do something with a box full of old family pictures. I knew that if they were still in the box when I die they will just get pitched...but if I could somehow preserve the stories behind the pictures maybe the future generations would find it interesting enough to keep. So I am working on heritage albums for both my and my husband's side of the family....as well as a current album as the mood strikes me.

I got my WB for Christmas last year and was happily cutting single letters and shapes when I stumbled on to this forum. Now, thanks to all the great tutorials and help from Michelle, Shirley, Susbi and all the other wonderful, helpful people here, I am having a wonderful time creating and playing. And to all the talented people who have been so generous with sharing their files...thank you, thank you, thank you....

Hiya Sally!

Nice to finally "formally" meet you :)

We couldn't do this type of forum without people like you! It takes a community to make this work. So every time you spread the word or pass along our web address to someone else, and they join and contribute, that is what makes it the community it is!

We have a few people that have stopped in and visited once or twice, and have never come back, and we have some that pop in once a month, once a week, once a day, and more! We like those that pop in occasionally, but really really appreciate the ones like you that pop in, and contribute some great information to others!

And, your files that you create are quite terrrific!

Thanks for making this your wishblade home!

Well hello, Big Red. It is nice to get a formal introduction . . . although you are not stranger here!

Thanks for all your contributions!

BTW, I still picture you with red hair and long, thin legs . . . (inside joke!)

Hi Sally, I'm Annie from Harrison Hot springs, B.C. Canada we used to sail on the lake here all summer, and then travel to s. California/Mexico for the winters........we met up with others who also summered in Co Mtns.

I am enjoying reading what you and Michelle and Shirley and Susbi and many many others contribute here on a daily basis. I received my machine this past week, the same day we got word that our daughter was going into hospital, They've been trying to drain fluid out of her right lung this week, but still need to do surgery as they weren't able to get it all out........ so I haven't actually connected with my new Craft Robo yet, as we are babysitting here in Delta for a couple of weeks, and enjoying our little grandchildren (1 yr and 3 yrs)......so, every spare minute I am on here reading everything I can.

thanks everyone, for all you contribute, this forum is like no other.......everyone gets an answer here........and so many are willng to help.......I can't wait til I can contribute too!!

Welcome to the forum, Annie....we are glad you found us. I have visited all the other forums I have been able to find and they don't hold a candle to this one. We are fortunate to have such a talented and helpful group of contributors.

I hope that all goes well with your daughter and that you will soon have time to get to know your machine and alll the fun things you can do. I promise that if you work through the tutorials you will be creating along with the rest of us.

Welcome Annie! You came to the right place.

My thoughts and prayers go to your daughter.

And Sally is right, the tutorials will get you to the place of creating and posting!
