View Full Version : File downloads
Thank you for the new look forum. I'm sure that a lot of hard work went into it.
I don't know whether this is a teething problem or even if any one else has the same problem or it's just me but I can't open up any of the .gsd files. Todays freebie I can but anything prior to the new forum is a no, no. Hope some one can help.

I've heard it from several folks too. I'm sure it's just from ramping up the new forum.

I have been having trouble opening some GSD files as well. About 30% will open with no trouble, but for the rest I get a message "there is an error in the file contents" .This has also happened for the party border from 'download a day'. This has happened in both the old and new forums. Does anyone have any idea what on earth I'm doing wrong? Has this happened to anyone else?
cheers

Happy Me...
You may need to use the wishaway program if it was happening before & after the new forum. Depending on what version of software you have and what setup you are using. There have been some changes to software recently and this may be part of the issue. What are you using to open the downloaded files?

HappyME,
go to the tips and tutorials, the WISHBLADE/CRAFTROBO sertion, and you will see a thread saying something to the affect of I have a robomaster and get ERROR In the file CONTENTS
Or scroll through, and you will see a similar thread for WB owners. The answer you need is in there. :)
You can also use the SEARCH tool in the forum, which is VERY useful, and search the words ERROR IN FILE CONTENTS

I was at my wit's end with a "Error In File Contents" message, and these posts saved the day! Thanks a bunch!
