I bought some of the World Win Paper that Michelle now carries in her store. When I first opened the paper a few days ago, I loved it. There are many different shades and it has a nice feel to it. Anyway, I used it for the first time this morning. It cuts like a dream! I think it is wonderful! You won't be disappointed if you buy it!:)

Well, I chose the Colormates, because it's what the cutter companies all recommend, including Xyron and Pazzles companies.
I cut about 1000 pieces of cutouts a day for a "second" job, and I was really struggling with all the papers I get here locally, becuase each "color" even though it was the same brand, was inconsistent. You could feel the differences in the papers, and it really was a pain, as I was constantly switching blades.
Since I got the color mates in, I have been so much happpier! I ordered the individual colors (39 of them all together), which comes in packs of 50 per color, and I now not only have a consistent color option for my customers (meaning I'm not switching from brand to brand, so we are able to use the color names assigned by the company, and stay consistent) but I'm able to just have one blade in, and leave it in! All of the colors, whether black, white, red, green, or pink cut with the same consistency! It's a heavy enough cardstock to give a quality feel, while still cutting nice enough to make my job easier!
I use the yellow cap, 1 oring, and highest pressure and speed. As my blade dulls, I'll switch to the pink cap!
I'm hoping the next supply order I place I'll be able to order the "color" families. So once you try it, if you really like reds or greens, you can buy a pack of those color varieties.....
I'm going to try to cut some of the doublemates and treasuremates (the textured paper, which looks very much like the bazzill!) Hopefully sometime this weekend!
I also bought some of their chipboard. I haven't put it in the store yet, because I want to test cut it on the KNK and see how it cuts.

Okay, Michelle -- I want some! Thanks, Shirley! I was undecided if I wanted to invest in more cardstock. You helped me decide! :) Now, will my hubby be happy with that decision?
I look forward to trying it. I was really impressed with the large amount of colors also. With the paper piecing, you can get in a rut with colors. It is nice to have that wide variation.

really now.... I would be a little intrested in treasuremates as I have been a Bazzill snob up to this point!!!

That was a really odd thing for me to say... like I've never stepped inside a scrapbook store and saw all the selection we have in paper these days... My point, though, is that it is nice to get a lot of colors in one pack and have that choice in your own home -- at 2am -- when you are cutting!! :) So, that is why I made the remark about variety... DUH! I've been putting in too many late nights -- early mornings!!! I'm sleep deprived, so never mind me!

For the next few months I'm doing all my cutting downstairs and all my scrapbook stuff is upstairs....so I've been buying up 8.5x11 thinner cardstocks to keep downstairs just to do sample cuts or practice cuts. I love the idea of having a huge pack of different colors with all the same thickness - and not having to change the blade like Michelle said.
I can't wait to get mine in! I just got it ordered today.

i only ordered like 5 packs of the Treasure Mates, as I wanted to see it first! I'm sure it will work great, on the KNK for sure....
But I don't know how it will cut on the WB/CR machines...so that is what i have to test! :)
When I do, I'll be loading it to the store! I'll put in the description if I recommend it for the WB/CR machines :)

I find that I run out of certain colors quite often. It would be great to be able to buy a pack of certain colors. I see a warehouse coming for Michelle!

I just got my paper and cut the "Locks of Love" file (soon to be in store) with it. It cuts BEAUTIFULLY!
Thanks, Michelle, for carrying this great line of paper for our cutters! :)

And I used some of the paper to cut my title for the swap!! Worked very well!!
I have to admit that I am still a Bazzill snob when it come to my scrapbooks though - but I do believe I will be using this paper for all my cutting!!!
Also- here's an idea..... I cut the bottom strip off the paper before cutting in my machine - I punched a whole in it and placed it on a ring - now I have a "mini" swatch book with the name of the color.... so if I need to reorder a certain color - I know which one it is for sure!!!

Lori, I did the same thing, only I put the strip in the slots on the "file" tab, and used it to file the paper in my paper drawer :)
I also don't cut it off when I'm cutting, beause sometimes I can get an extra 1/8 of an inch on some of that :)

That's a really good idea, Lori! I already threw away some of my strips. Next time I get a pack, I'll remember to look for the ones that I've already discarded! As for the rest... I'll do that hole punch, swatch idea. Excellent!!! :)

I'm so glad I read that about the colorswatch ring before I cut any of my paper! I just got mine in and I've been loving all the colors of it.

Finally opened the ColorMates 8.5 x 11 Assortment Pack and made my first cuttings on it... WOW!!! Even the WB seems to be pleased with this paper. I was using whatever cardstock found at local craft stores and all I can say is WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!
I like the idea of cutting the end off the paper for future ordering needs. Thank you!
Thanks to everyone who suggested trying this paper... I'm hooked! Debbie

Isn't it wonderful, Deb? I was cutting some stuff this afternoon and switching back and forth between the Colormates paper and some other cardstock that I have. The Colormates paper seems to stay put better on my mat also!
When I post things in the store, I was thinking of listing the colors I use for each file. That way, when people cut, they can use the same colors if they like.
