I thought this might be fun to do.

How do you know when you are a fontaholic? Is it when you have 8074 fonts? That number grows daily! Do you think that I will ever really use all these fonts? Probably not but they are worth having.

How do you know when you are a GSD junkie? Is it when you have 2464 GSD Files? That number also grows daily!

How do you know when you are a addicted to your Wishblade? Is it when you avoid housework and work to play?

OK, I confess that I am all three.

I am right there with you - trying to thin my 9876 fonts out as we speak - I am only on the c's!! I try to do a letter a day - but that takes away from my cutting time!!

What's a girl to do!!

Hi Chris,

Is there a 12 step program for this. Oh, just gotta tell you...I got a new puppy. She is sososososo cute. She is a Dachsund like the one I lost. She is attached at the hip to me after only 2 days.

Lori,

You sound like me. I have only had my Wishblade for 2 weeks though. I guess that I am just addicted.

You said it best...what's a girl to do. HeHe

I am not so much of a fontaholic. I am a clipartaholic. I just can't have enough! Clip art just gives you fabulous ideas!

I am a newbie here and have the new Wishblade. I bought it at HSN's launch. They talked about all the free clipart you could downlaod off the internet ( like that adorable diner). Can you please tell me where you are finding all the free designs and fonts. I want to become a "fontaholic"--HA! I am so glad to have found this sight and hope that someone will help me! Thanks!!

Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly. I see that there are a lot of fonts for me to go through!! I'm still confused about the clip art, tho. What I am looking for is more the laser cut designs. Do you know if there are any of those free for downloading?

Thanks for your help!
Connie

If you go into the tips and tutorial section, you will find the FONTS section, and in there are several good links to free fonts.

For images/clipart, just google for an image, clcik on the IMAGE tab, and you'll get all kinds of things you want to work with!

What kind of laser cut? You can make anything pretty much look like a laser cut by tracing it......

As you can tell I am VERY new at this. Are the directions that came with the WB for tracing and cutting pretty good? Or are there any hints you can give me to make something in to a laser design?

Thanks!!

I have fonts that I put in file folders after I downloaded Create & Cut. How do I get the software to recognize them? I'm getting frustrated and would appreciate any help!!

Thanks!!

you either have to install them to your windows, or use them in a font manager program, like The Font Thing.

(if you search it in this forum, you shoul find a link to download it)

When using a manager program, like that, you need to open the font manager program, and the folders where your fonts are BEFORE you open your Create and Cut program.

You would just pull up the font - so double click on it - and then pull up and open your create and cut... if the font is open your create and cut should see it.....

But the font has to be open BEFORE the C&C......

You might want to think about getting a font browers - there are several free ones out there - look in the forum under fonts!!! I use the AMP Font Browers - but a lot of people use the font thing! Both are free!!!

Hope that helps!!
