Has anyone noticed that we are now over 4000 members? I think it is wonderful that we are growing by leaps and bounds! I can remember when I started watching numbers and it was around 2600. That was less than a year ago, probably around January.

Thanks to everyone for making this a pleasant learning environment! I have met some great friends here!

I noticed, I noticed!!

Last year, before March, I had no forum :) It was just a plain old website, with links to some of my files I had created and links to the inkscape tutorial I had written.

:) I was happy when I opened the forum and had members that first couple of days! I think Jenette and Dora were 2 of the first members to join :)

I agree, Shirley....this is a great place to make friends and learn all about our wonderful machines!! I have learned so many creative techniques here that I use in my scrapbooking all the time. And it is a great comfort to know that if a problem crops (no pun intended...LOL!) up, I can count on someone here to help me out. I have tried to return the favor by helping a couple of newbies get started and I have shared the few files I have made that I think others would enjoy. I want to thank Michelle for creating this great place for all of us!!!

Hey Red . . .Where ya been? I told Lori the other day that I have missed seeing you on the forum. I was wondering if you fell into WinPC world and never found your way out! LOL!

I am thankful to Michelle also. We are the members . . .she is the backbone!

Don't worry...I won't go away!! I check the forum several times a day, I just don't post much. I still haven't mastered WinPC except for welding words. But then I haven't practiced much...one of these days I will come up with a project I need it for and then I will go to work. Lori was a great help to me in getting started...I would have never realized what was wrong if she hadn't called me and told me I needed to re-install.

We are going back to TX for our mid-summer trip next week...not looking forward to the heat!!!

I told Michelle way back in the beginning stages that it was a wonderful idea and that I thought that it would go over great.

Michelle is a wonderful person and has an awesome business mind.

Thanks, Lori!!! I just need a project to come along that MAKES me start working on learning. I did do some playing once I re-installed and the tools were working properly and I do think it is going to do anything I need. I have just been busy and have only needed to cut words, or files I have already created in Inkscape.
Hope you and hubby are having a wonderful time together while he is home!!

Wow! That is impressive! But I have to say that I am not surprized... once people find their way here there is no reason to leave! The people are great, the information is awsome and of course it is all due to Michelle! Thanks for all the hard work you do for us!

You guys give me WAY too much credit!

I firmly believe it's the members that make it a great place to be. If you all had to read posts just from me all day you'd be bored.

and you guys all have attributed so much to the environment, that I hope it really is a great learning environment.
