okay, someone, i am helping a friend load and set up inkscape, craft robomast to bridge and then her wishblade....inkscape is working fine then goes well to robocraft, however, for some reason when i open up her old blue wishblade, the file won't open and apears to not have been converted to the proper formate gsd file...
i down loaded the RoboMasterPro Ver. 2.0 however, on my computer i did notice that my version of the craftrobo is Robo Master 1.2 and it's working well...i have no idea what is going on here and don't know where to get this version..
think someone can tell me what i need to do now?
thanks, Dianne

Dianne, the problem is that you downloaded Robomaster Pro. That is for the Craft Robo Pro. I believe someone posted a german site that has the correct download. If you do a search you might be able to find it.

You want robomaster...here is the link (http://www.craftrobo.de/craftrobo/software/software.html) (found from other threads). It is in German but the spinning disk is what you need to click to download.

I'm still working on it,,removed the incorrect program and used the link you gave me to download the correct robomaster...i think it's kinda confusing because I did look in the forum for past references to doing this and found the graftech site in the forum..maybe a clean up would help or erm.......
duh me???????????????? hahahhaha now ya'll don't answer that!!!!!

PLEASE HELP!!! I have gone to the german site, clicked on the spinning disk. It asks me to login. I set up an acct somehow in German. (Mind you I don't speak any German). It lets me in, but gives me a full page of downloads. Which one is it??
I am so mad at myself. I had the 2.4 version on my computer. I was going through files and cleaning my drives and it said I had 2 versions of 2.4. So I deleted one. Well it deleted both of them.
Thanks so much!! I'm ready to pull my hair out!!

I figured that would happen...more and more people probably linked to them and they password protected it. The original link used to have 3 spinning disks not the one and login that is there now.

Does the WINPC or Cut & Create bypass RoboMaster?? I've been debating on whether to get a different software. I just don't really have the extra funds to shell out another $100.
I am just so mad that I accidentally deleted the Robomaster program.
Thanks for listening to me vent. :)

I would recommend WinPC...it will do everything without any extra steps, and I believe that CnC doesn't autotrace. Maybe someone can figure out which RM for you to download from the German site and you won't have to spend the extra money.

WinPC does bypass Robomaster. Create and Cut will work for welded words, but doesn't have autotrace functions.
The problem is, Wishblade is not supported by Graphtec, and as soon as the places with the download available are finding too much bandwidth being used, they are going to a customer based release only.
you can still use the 1.2 version, you just might also need a little utility called Wishaway to open those files made in the later versions.
What is nice about WPC is it is an all in one program, and gives you the opportunity to cut faster and quieter as well!

Oh - and I LOVE LOVE LOVE My WinPc.... but ya'll all know that -
AND you can control how much pressure and how fast right from the screen - and you can tell it where to cut you paper to save your paper and to cut from scraps!!! I get giddy just talking about it!!! LOL
