New Blade Holder for the Wishblade and Craft Robo

:rolleyes: Has anyone bought and used the "New Blade Holder for the Wishblade and Craft Robo" from http://www.awalkdownmemorylane.net/craftrobo.html? This blade is supposed to be longer, but will still fit the Craft Robo, Wishblade and the Silhouette, and I wanted to see if anyone can cut thicker media, such as heavier card stock or fun foam?:cool:

I think its the accublade holder (http://www.paperthreads.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=45_48&products_id=1742) that Michelle sells here... lots of people have them... I'm not one of them but I'm sure they'll pipe up soon!

Hi Sheri! Welcome to the forum. This looks like the same accu-bladeholder Michelle carries in the store:

It does fit both the old and new WB and CR. I think folks have been able to cut Bazzil easier with it but it still won't let you cut chipboard or fun foam on the WB or CR.

We carry it at Paperthreads.

We also carry it in a Starter pack, where you save up to $8 on the whole package.

Using it with the CR or WB machines will allow you to cut Bazzill, but nothing thicker, and still with some of the bazzills you have to cut in 2 passes. This is because the machines just don't have the power to cut...the longer blade helps it a bit.

It will let you cut fun foam, but only simple shapes and patterns on a larger scale. Small details, etc, just don't work. What it does is it cuts through the first 3rd of the foam, then you just "pop" your cut piece out the rest of the way.

Yes, it works on all of the Graphtec machines.

Where can I find blades for my "old Blue WB AccuCut Blade holder? (not the one with the colored caps but this one screws the blade up and down to adjust it.
