I just added a card I made this morning to the gallery (http://www.paperthreads.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=1112&limit=recent)using Shirley's "Hearts Intertwined" file (http://www.paperthreads.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_dnld_info&cPath=66_68&products_id=2016). While I was origionally going to use it for my anniversary card, when one of my friend's mothers passed away suddenly, I couldn't think of anything more appropriate given that there is nothing more intertwined than the hearts of parents and their children.

This file was super easy to use and I can't think of a time it wouldn't apply....unless you are making a happy divorce card but that is an oxymoron isn't it??

Anyway, since I am the keeper of all things craft ;), I pulled out my "create-a lope" set (QVC purchase YEARS ago) and made the coordinating envelope.

Thanks everyone. I knew that you needed a double sided paper to really make the file shine. Fortunately for me, 4 years ago  I was at a "Bargain Ollie's" a liquidation store and they had a bunch of fiskars acid free patterned card stock packs of 12 (12x12 pages) marked down from $ 6.00 to 99 cents. I bought a few packs and have had them on the shelf since that time!

The colors were perfect for this card so I pretty much lucked out! It's amazing how intricate the pattern looks given it is 1 circle with 16 partial cuts!

Thanks for the compliments!
