Western Flower Pot...

Bought a couple of flower pots and decided to decorate them using vinyl (have only cut letters with this stuff). Shirley's Western Collection File (http://www.paperthreads.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_dnld_info&products_id=3235) was calling me so that's what I used :)

I forgot how nicely vinyl cuts and do plan on purchasing more now that I've given this a whirl. Also, the barbwire around the top of the pot cut surprisingly well! Thumbs up on that Shirley :) While playing with the vinyl, I wanted to see if I could do some shading with markers (it was an experiment... will have to work on this!)

When I first purchased this KNK, I was overwhelmed with everything so I wanted it all and bought some marine/auto vinyl. Designed (yes, I did manage to design a file or two) window signs and then that was that. So when setting up my scrap area last week, I came across this vinyl and it got me thinking (thinking is dangerous LOL) Now that I've tried it, I do plan on getting some of that vinyl in the store :) Have been looking over the colors :)

It's just like working with paper except the sticky stuff is already on the back :) Plus, with projects such as the flower pots, the vinyl can give a little (stretch) which allows for better placement... paper isn't as forgiving and rips easily!
