Converting files

Quick question...

I notice a lot of files are posted in .GSD, which is great BUT those of us who have a KNK can not use these files unless they directly import ok, I usually just convert them for my needs, Is it ok to do so?? and would I be able to share these files? How about if I post them on here?

okay, HOW do you convert? I tried opening a GSD file and I got an unrecognizable error. Is there a thread or a technique that I have missed?

CPC: You first have to have the robomaster program to open the file . Once you do that you can then follow the instructions in the manual (page 60).

You can open some GSD files in KNK Studio GE but not all will open.

to open GSD files in knk, zoom open select all file types (at the bottom of pop up) goto your file folder, select the file and click open.

OR cpc, you can visit this thread and read the information posted here (http://www.paperthreads.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6425&highlight=convert). This program will convert .GSD's for you to use in your .KNK program BUT you do have to have robomaster to ustilize it BUt it is all in the thread.

I went to the link, you can download drivers and manuals, but I'm not seeing a link to download the actual software. I don't want the machine, I just want to be able to open / covert GSD files.

When I get to the point of making files to share w/ others; it would be a nice option for GSD folks.
