Baby Shower Banner

Hello there,

My daughter had a baby shower at the Church today and it was WONDERFUL! They were overwhelmed by everything God blessed them with! It was absolutely amazing! My grandson is due 2-19-09 and his name will be Clay Michael Jeffery Alan Green!!!!! ALL the middle names represent names of the beloved male members of the family! They didn't want to leave anyone out so he has several middle names! ANYWAY, I made a banner for the shower last night using Carrie's Creations #CS00168 and it turned out quite well. NOTHING fancy. The middle banner is 1st Samuel 1:27 (We prayed for this child and the Lord gave us what we asked of Him) I've uploaded pictures of it and the close ups of each banner in my gallery (barracudasue) so,when you have a moment, please take a look at it. I also uploaded a picture of the banner hanging on the table with the gifts.

DRATZ!!! You are either a couple of weeks too late or we were a couple of weeks too early with the baby showers. Never thought of using the banner file for the two baby showers we recently had (1 for our daughter & there was one for her sister-in-law).

It looks FANTASTIC!!! Will definately have to keep this in mind for any future showers. The kids are always asking for ideas and or help with events for friends & family. Love it!!!

Thank you ~~Brett, Shirley and debenj, for the kind comments! I have NO idea where these outside the box thinking comes from but I seem to come up with more of them all the time! ROFL Like the table runner and now the banner. Debenj, I'm sure you'll have a lot more baby showers or even wedding showers to use this idea! All the rest of you, feel free to use the idea no matter what the occasion! I'm think about a "Happy Thanksgiving" or "Be Thankful" banner to display in my dining room or a "Christmas Blessings" on for the mantle. The possibilities are ENDLESS! My mind it racing right now so it's time to go create! LOL Again, thank you for the comments. They keep me wanting to create MORE!
