Hello all,
Well, since this morning, I had to come up with a way to use the embossed Christmas charm of Shelly's Art so, if you go to this link: http://www.paperthreads.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2828 you will get to see the outside of the prototype and if you go to THIS link: http://www.paperthreads.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2830 you will get to see the inside of the card.
Oh, Jan, steal away! ROFL It wasn't MY idea to make the charms look like metal---that was ALL Shelly's grand idea!
Off to do some more creating...and probably uploading more pictures later! =)
Blessings,
Sue

Very nice!
I must be doing something wrong. Tried using a crystal transparent embossing last night and it looked like ................. (you can fill in the blank!) Think I had too much embossing ink... Can you have too much ink?
May give it another try today.

Debenj---I'm not sure if you can get too much embossing ink but you can get it too hot with your embossing tool and it turns to mush. Is that the blank you were talking about? =) You could also use regular stamping ink...just be quick about putting the embossing powder on. Also, don't have your heat tool too close to the project. I've found that out through my own errors! =(
Shirley--the sentiment is perfect, isn't it? I love creating my own card sentiments using Bible verses. My favorite bithday card (although it isn't a Bible verse) is "Don't think of it as another birtday...think of it as God giving you a promotion". =)

Oh I do love that sentiment too! I'll have to use it!
Deb, did you let the embossing powder "melt"? It takes a bit for it to actually "melt" together.

That's a fantastic card, Sue! I want one! LOL! My most recent attempt I got it too hot and my embossing powder "boiled" for lack of a better word.

Judi,
I just clicked on the link in my original post and didn't have any problem so I have NO idea! Any of you mods know what the issue is with Judi that she cannot see the card?
Blessings,
Sue

We can figure it out later ;-) I've been trying to get my house clean (not something I like doing) so that when the President of our PTO stops by, things aren't so out of place. You should see my dining room.... I use it for an office/craft space and I can't seem to keep the table cleaned off long enough. I seriously wonder where all that "stuff" comes from that seems to gravitate towards the desk and table.

After the Hack, didn't we change it so you had to have so many post before seeing or doing things?

I just checked and she has plenty of posts now. Try viewing again BugsCraftyMama! Maybe you didn't have enough originally.
