Another Copics question

I'm making a baby card and there's a baby bottle that I need to color in. Now, please don't laugh too hard (but I have no experience with baby bottles). What's the best color to use for the nipple part of the bottle?

They come in all different colors--usually clear or a light brown but I've seen pink and blue ones too.

Yes, that does help. Thanks Ileana. In the back of my mind I kept remembering a yellowish color and that was what I was trying to match. Good to know that there are other options.

Well Elizabeth, since you enjoyed that last question so much, I have a couple more you might like ROFLOL

1. The little holes around the caps of the Ciao markers - are they purely for decoration or do they have a purpose (like for venting or something)? The reason I ask is because I really liked Jen's idea (thanks Jen) of labeling the ends but didn't know if I could cover the whole cap or could only use the teeny tiny center portion.

2. Are the caps interchangeable on either end of the marker? I looked closely and it appears the thingy on the inside are the same size so they could go on either end. If that's the case it would make labeling easier because I won't need to be so careful about which end I put the label on because I could just swap it later.

The vents at the end are to protect a child if they swallow one (so they don't choke). So, the marker itself is sealed, but those vent the outside of the cap if it lodges in the throat.

The ends seem VERY similar, but unfortunately I couldn't seem to interchange them (they just didn't seal right). That's why I mentioned that I have a couple brush ends labeled. I figure when they end up wearing off through use I'll put it back on the right end.

Do you have the ciao's then Esther? If so, I think I could send you the file I used to print the lettering for the caps. I just used a hole punch to punch them out once it printed.

Hey Jen can you post the file you made again, pretty please, also what size punch did you say you used?? I printed it out at work and wanted to punch them out but couldn't remember so I want to print out another copy in case I make a boo-boo.

Sorry to create you MORE work :(

There is an update to the forum, that I need to move to, but it is enough of a change, that I have to test it on a dummy site first.

But when I tried, somehow, it tied into the database here, and wiped everything out. (see...which is why i've been waiting all these months to do the forum software upgrade!)

Anyway, I'm going to try it again later today...see if I can't make it work properly!
