    Wink New Paper Straight Cutter

Had to let everyone know the new cutter that I purchased. It is a 12" x 12" Precision Paper Trimmer with a self sharpening blade. It comes with a magentic ruler that really does hold down your paper. It cuts perfect everytime. No really it does. It folds in half for easy storage and then you just unfold it to make a 12" cutting area. You can even cut 2 to 3 pieces of paper at a time. It also comes with non slip legs. It is made by Making Memories and cost around $50.

You need to check this out. It really is awesome.

I have both the MM cutter and the one from Basic Grey, I love them both! I use the MM for the straight cuts and the Basic Grey one for all my free hand stuff.
(I keep my laptop away from the magnets)

Thanks for the reminder warning about the basic grey magnetic mat & computers. I use DH's laptop for my KNK cutting . . . boy would he be upset if I tanked the 'puter in the scrapbook room!

I was wondering if I should bite the bullet and get the MM cutter. I've used the cutterpede for over 3 years, worn out one! But the last one I bought doesn't cut exactly straight unless I fuss with the paper and line it up with the base and not the arm. Harder when you are trimming 12" down to 11 13/16. May have to ask for one for my bday next week, have the M's coupon for 50% off too!
