Not sure what machine is right for me.

Hi everyone, I'm a graphic designer looking for a machine that is compatible with mac osx system and adobe illustrator cs3. I did some research with the Klic-N-Kut XL and Robo Craft Pro machines and I know that Robo Craft Pro is compatible with mac osx but not sure if the Klick n Kut is. Ideally i want a machine that's also able to do embossing and engraving, so the Klic N Kut is looking real good. I want to make a purchase but is totally unsure about the system compatibility.

Hi, and welcome to the group!

The Klic-N-Kut works on a MAC, ONLY if you use a windows parallel program creating a windows environment for it to communicate with. We have several MAC owners that use their machines this way.

The CraftRobo will work from CS3 through a bridge, available at the Graphtec site.

The Klic-N-Kut ultimately does so much more, the speed and pressure is wonderful, and the different media you can cut is great!

thank you for replying, now that I know it works with os x. I too, think that the KNK is better in the long run.
